Air Force Swimmers Conclude Competition at U.S. Olympic Trials
Air Force swimmers Bryan Avery and Benjamin Gunn, along with 2007 graduate Paul Parmenter, wrapped up competition Friday at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. All three Falcons took part in the preliminaries of the men's 100 butterfly. (more)
7/3/08 - Cross Country Lopez Lomong Places Second in 1500-Meter Quarterfinals
Air Force volunteer cross country coach Lopez Lomong clocked a time of 3:43.38 to finish second in the 1500-meter run during the quarterfinal round of action at the 2008 Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. Lopez, who won the second heat, automatically qualified for a spot in the semifinal round. It is the first of three races to determine the Olympic Team in that event. (more)
